Help!
where to find a cac boomerang

G'day all.
well i screwed up, i got a little too cocky and turned my little
boomerang into a lawn dart, i had about 20 great, faultless
flights with it, and had plans for giving it a tidy up scale wise.
i am hoping that someone may have seen one sitting on a shelf
covered in dust at their local hobby store, or even have an
unbuilt one stashed away somewhere that i could buy from them,
as i have not been able to find another one.
it was a parkflyer series cac boomerang marketed by model
engines, or wattage.
thanks guys
here are a few shots taken before her unfortunate demise

There was one in Perth Hobby Center when I went in there at lunchtime.

They want $299 for it.

Yep it's been there for about 3 years now...
Along with the 3 Wattage T-6 Harvards that they want $199 ea for.

Bwahahahahaha they're so dreaming

Hang on...Maybe they're not a dreaming - they're actually comatose

try and get one of the staff to smile - now that's more challenging than flying a Wattage Harvard

ha ha ha ha

They are a miserable lot indeed. The atmosphere is like a morgue in there. I rarely buy anything from them. I only go in there now and again for something to do during lunch break.

A mate was buying these in for his shop when they were being dumped by the importer, $20 each I think it was and was reselling them for $40, I got a pc9 off him and what a great flyer it was until I ripped the wing off by flying inverted and pulling a neg loop.

thanks for the help guys, i eventually sucumbed, and went to perth hobby center in town, they had a airframe only kit stashed away on a shelf, got it for $115.00, still abit rude for what it is but hey thats life! all the elects from
the wreck were fine and the new one is coming along nicely, going to have a crack at painting this one up as well. was thinking about sheeting the wing and adding some alfa retracts, may have a crack at rebuilding the wing off of the wreck! will flick up some photos some time.

cheers

Trumps,

Are you going to paint it brown/olive drab, or allover olive with Pacific Area white tips. What squadron?

i am going to paint it up as a No 4 sqn aircraft, earth brown and foliage green
upper surfaces, with sky blue under sides, they also retained the all white tail feathers and wing leading edge that i like. hopefully i can match up the paint colours with aerosols, it will be my first paint job so hope i dont trash it! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I've got one new in box without motor or electronics that I bought maybe 2 years ago from Kellets. Happy to sell it for what I paid for it if someone wants it. Send me a PM.
