Yes when the firewall broke I used epoxy to glue it back together with a homemade clamp and when it dried I cut a CD with the all the holes and stuff and glued that on. It has been holding since (4-5 months?).

Its not that the firewall is a weak part of the plane but if it break yous SOL. Every once in a while everybody will come in for a hard landing, its a fact the everyone knows and embraces. The point is that if you reinforce the firewall when that time comes and the radian impersonates a lawn dart the firewall wont break.

The reason I had to fix it was that i threw a prop and it ripped the **** out of it... I would see no need otherwise

Mine did the same thing but it chose the perfect time to do it so I cut throttle and it only cracked the firewall. well the prop too...

Anything under 10 minutes would be a quick flight on a Radian. Then you power up, climb out and do it again!

OK - 5 minutes is a quick flight on the blade msr. I was hoping to get in a quick 30-45. But you know what that leads too!!!! cough cough. I got sick at lunch boss. Can't make it back in today.

A little chilly here this morning but had to get a flight in. Dead calm and beautiful sunrise. I attached my new GoPro HeroHD to the leading edge about 6 inches from the root at a slight down angle. One flight video, one flight 5 second interval 5mp stills. One pic raw and one pic is cropped to remove the nose and prop. Flew great. Can't wait until more warm temps and calm winds.
