The kit is in development right now, and should be available in just a few weeks. The first production parts just came out of the laser cutter and they're building the first production model to test things out. Look for an announcement here soon!

Great video. It looks like it flies just like mine. Terrific little airplane.

Walt - Take a look at the assembly drawing on the plans I posted. The recommended CG location is shown on the top view of the airplane.

Ruprecht - Nice video!

Steve,

I've got too many things going on, but I'm still working on getting the Polaris finished up. I hope to have it ready by the Vegas SuperFly at the end of the month. Are you going to that by any chance?

Glad to hear you're almost done, Pat. I hadn't given SuperFly much thought, but with a 3-year old and 4-month old in the house, I probably shouldn't give it much thought...

I hear ya Steve. Well, maybe one day we'll find each other at the same event at the same time. Until then, keep the designs coming!

well all finished with her and my camera wont load pics now for some reason . but anyway . she turned real sweet I goofed up on the build and glued the bottom tail piece on before the wing so the servos are on top with a moded top design but i think it should be fine just waiting for a break in weather for maiden on water thats right on h20 . Ended up at 20.65 oz. with a healthy coat of 3m exreme tape and plasti cote paint

well durn I used a 2212-10 by mistake I thought it was an -06 but after my maiden I soon realized that those extra rpm were not there . After a 80' row it was under powered and bearly made a banked turn to return . It then belly floppt down and I brought her in . I should be able to replace motor I left a lil slack in canard wires . after a few minutes of row attemts I was able to get airborne but not wanting to stay full throttle for that long untill I can switch motors I have a super cool looking hydro?I am also useing a 6x4 prop

darkseacret. I'm using a 2212-10 on mine and I have plenty of power. That being said, I'm at tad lighter at 17.5 oz. Also, use a 7x5 prop on that 2212-10. A 6x4 really doesn't get the job done on that motor..
