THAT AIN'T RIGHT.

The ESC came in a nice plastic bag. There were No printed instructions
on how to program. HELP! This is a bad accident waiting to happen.
I want to get this plane done, but I can't really do anything until this
gets sorted out.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Are you using a 2.4GHz system or PCM (which I doubt)? If so, then you may have to reset the failsafe. If it is a Spektrum, then you will have to rebind with the throttle stick in the low position. If it is Assan, then all you have to do is make sure your sticks/switches are in the failsafe position when you plug the rx in to the batts.

If it is a Corona synthesized PPM rx, then you will have to RTFM. If it is not a failsafe problem, then maybe someone else can come up with another explanation. Or maybe the failsafe is in your esc...?

I started by assembling all queue / drift / engine. This part is quite complex and extensive testing to white for the very well aligned. It is necessary to lengthen the son connecting the engine controller.
It will be equipped with a Turnigy 2826-1350 (given to 245 watts with a 7x5)
The assembly of the fuselage is not a problem. A tube of glass fiber is inserted and glued with epoxy in the wing.
After testing the engine and setting up 2 servos, collage of power on the wing with epoxy.
Engine: in 2S: 7x5 ==> 70W 9A / 8x4 ==> 78W 10.1a; in 3S: 7x5 ==> 181W 15.6A / 8x4 ==> 185A 15.6A
I therefore retain the 7x5 in 3S.

BYflyer, I just have three wires ran to the motor pod. The end user only has to solder the wires to his motor. Motor is simply screwed to the firewall with a little slot cut in it to allow the wires to go through. After that, just glue the stab and fin to the assembly. Easy cakes.

Thanks, Chewytm

You were correct. I am using a Futaba 6EX 2.4
The throttle channel has a fail-safe that allows you to set the
speed if the receiver looses the TX signal. Mine was set to 20%.
I shut off the fail-safe completely. Everything is behaving properly now.
I am definitely back into RTFM Mode. Once Again, Thanks for the Help.

Finally closed up my engine pod, hinged the elevator and glued on the horizontal and vertical stabs. Still need to install the elevator control horn, close up the top of the fuse, cut hatches, sand, and apply decals. Then it's finally time to fly! If the weather cooperates, that should happen about two weeks from today.
