I got ahead of myself a few posts ago when I claimed the thousandth page.

Do you think it is about time to split this thread? I only found it a couple of months ago. I started reading from post #1 and am up to about page 20. At this rate it will take me about a year to get through all of it.

Yes I know about the lake Hodges put in. If I go to SEFF it will only be for one day. Probably Friday or Saturday.

I have my settings to show 100 posts per page, so I'm only at Page 150.

You're not kidding! I had NO IDEA the Polaris would be this popular. I thought it would be just another foamy design in a sea of foamy designs on RC Groups--hot for maybe a few months, then probably die out.

Interestingly, my F-14 and F-18 park jet threads over in the pusher props forum are both still going strong after 7 years, but are only at about 5,000 posts each. The Polaris thread, on the other hand, is at 15,000 posts in just after 3 years! Blows those out of the water (pun intended!).

Polaris Shrink?

Does Depron shrink? I see slight changes in the aileron settings in my Polaris XL over time? The changes equate to the fuse getting shorter; is that possible?

On Tapatalk on the iPad I'm only at 750, but on a browser it's 1000.

What's indisputable is that we are coming up on 15,000 posts.

Yeah, I'm the same as you. I've been using 100 posts per page for years, so I've never been able to relate when guys talk about what page key stuff is on!

Not that I'm aware of, or have seen on any of my 50 or so depron builds over the past 4 years (I even still have one plane that was built in 2008, and sits in my garage in the summer in 120 heat). It'll warp, but I've never seen it shrink.

Which is why I'm constantly telling people to use a post # versus a page #.

Mine gets shorter if I arrive vertically.

Seriously, I suppose it's not impossible, but I've never heard of it. If you have only a single aileron servo, then the change should affect both ailerons equally, as opposed to radio-related changes that would move them in opposite directions.

Einsteins theory dictates that as a body increases speed it beomes shorter in the direction of travel but longer in the 'Y' axis. At the speed of light the object becomes infinitely short but infinitely long. Perhaps you have a particularly fast Polaris. Does the depron shrink but become fatter?
