What was that Airwolf Heli in RCModler in the 80's

Some thing jogged my memory about a Heli, I think I remember it being either
LMH-100 size, defiantly smaller then the Concept Heli.

Any info as to what it was called? I think it sold for $200-$300
Had to be the first micro right?

Retro lol. looks well built though. The cnc parts are so much more simple on that heli. In my opinion simplicity means less difficulty more effeciancy and less money needed to be spent on a spare part.

wow, that thing looks like a tank!

I cant figure out how it even works. Is it an FP?

That one link on the side, is that the anti rotation bracket kinda thing?

Could you even get 5 minutes of flying time from that? the cells look really small.

Hi
Probably young people here do not like 80's electric powered helicopters.
The EH-550 was painted in black and white like an airwolf in the
commercial paper. I found the following pictures of the box:

http://www.modellbau-museum.de/Hubsc...550/EH-550.htm

At that time, there was no small gyros, so the control was very very
difficult. The heli never lift-off easily, but ran out to the left side.
The price (with motors and a battery) was 45,000 in japan;
radios and servos are not included.
