Reminds me of an old kit I had called the "Puddle Jumper". Used to run with a .049 motor but I converted it to electric with a brushed motor. At that time (nearly 10 years ago), batteries were awful and run times were less than 3-4 minutes.

Got me some Bluecore in the garage...maybe I'll give your idea a try!

a .40 is recommended but I have a .61 on it. You could scale the plans down to 60% and a .15 would work just fine.
