The ESC won't work without its own power, which also comes from that regulator.
Best to get CC to fix it... if you had to ask you don't have the skills. If you really want to learn, drop in to the DIY electronics forum and ask there. |

If the ESC's bec was overloaded it will get hot, and shut down. I have had the heatshrink melt on overloaded CC-35's. Replaced the heatshrink, used an external bec, and have had over a year of flights since.
So I would check to see if the ESC's bec is bad or was just overloaded. A stuck servo can easily overload it. |

I have various Spectrum recievers from 6100 to 7000, SOME ocasionaly blink after previous solid binding, occasionally the ESC also NOT arming (In most cases there is NO obvious fault such as the throttle open slightly)
This can be usually rectified by a few attempts at re connecting the Li-Po. However after 2 goes I usually switch on reciever then radio ALWAYS works. I havw not been happy doing this as a 30 dflyer of 30 years on 27MHZ and 35MHZ this has always been a NO NO. BUT as ALL my hellis and planes (electric only) are on 2.4GHZ I am getting round to be happy with this. Heritic |
