Great HD vid. And that movie demonstrates WHY EPP rocks! you can toss it around and not worry! I love flying my 36" Yak right next to me in the wind, so much fun. But this thing is way more nimble than my floppy 36. I have to get some viagra for the poor thing. It is better than it was, but still floppy in the wind and no snap to it really.

thanks. i'll never build from depron again, i love epp. most of the crashes you see are from trying to touch the wings to the floor in a knife edge in that wind! what you dont see is when i was trying to learn rolling loops, i did about 8 rolling figure 9's and absolutely no damage. after that video i decided to go in to the "ring" with some superflies doing combat and lost about 4 inches from a wing that i taped back on and kept on flying with no problem.

it eventually died the only way i think possible to kill an epp plane, hovering in between 2 trex's to take some pics lol

The EPP Challenger is complete! I must say I am stoked about flying this plane. It is my first EPP Bipe, and it just seems like she is really going to float along. I finally did try out the GWS narrow servo arms for the $3 servos, and they fit like a glove! My throws are insane. I had to dial them way back and don't really need to use the long arms like I thought I would.

I am also sold on tape hinges per the Tallflyer method. Although I had trouble getting the 3M super77 to hold a few pieces. I need to find the trick to that, but I think the key is to let it dry before you apply the tape to the EPP, and to apply the Super77 to both the EPP and the tape. It seems to have an epoxy like quality to it, but it certainly makes for some easy flowing control surfaces.

I need to get started on the review for it and the boom. I wished I would have taken pics of the boom! build, but I didn't. I will get vid of it as soon as we have good weather and I am also going to try the Boom! and the Challenger out at Eden on March 6th. I hope I get a chance to vid them in flight before then, but this weekend is looking very moist Oh well, time to build a couple of more EPP planes To include the GOOLIE!

Yeah, I made stencils out of cardboard, and scrap pieces of foam, then used them to paint most of my stuff.

Search YouTube, you can find alot of tutorial videos on there. That is where I found out how to do the rivets on the CR-260.

Where probably of the slofly topic now But diggs said this is the plane they made him be able to hover. Thought this might be intersting to show how easy it is to hover a slofy and what a small space you can hover a slofly in

Yeah, the slofly seems awesome. I plan to pick up a box or two of EPP on my way down to SEFF at RCfoam since they are right on the way. After that I'll be building one. Thanks for ATTF for turning me onto Tallflyers great site.

Here is a show suggestion:

Get someone who has Aerial Photography experience to come on the show and talk about it. I'm interested in both FPV stuff as well as photographing high quality but have yet to do either. Specifically it would be great if they were knowledgeable enough to talk about the various transmitters/receivers/cameras being used and the pros/cons of each.

Diggs, UHU Por works wonders for getting clear tape to stick to the EPP for your tape hinges. Just spread a load of it around where you want the tape to stick, let if fully dry to the touch, 10 mins or so. Feels like there is nothing there when it has dried, no stickyness at all. Lay down the tape and press firmly onto the EPP. Sticks mucho well and is very easy to apply, no spray fumes or overspray mess either. No need to put the glue onto the tape, just onto the EPP is all that's needed.
