Just a thought.

Anyway can't wait to see it fly

I could only do a mini-review as I forgot to take pictures during the build......

I hope you guys don't mind me mentioning this in your blog. Mike "Crash" Hancock, formerly of RC Flightcast, has a show of his own now. You can find details at http://thecrashcast.com/ . It's up on Itunes now.

I have to say one of our more informative shows. Great questions for Lucien and some really surprising answers to go along with them. Changed the way I look at Lipos! Thanks Lucien!

caught the mention of my book

I just listened to #83. Sounds like the copies of my book got to their destinations safe and sound. I'm really glad to hear both of you liked it.

Just finished listening to #83!

Diggs, I heard you talking about the Harbor Freight airbrush. I got one last summer, for painting foamies. The only complaint I have is that, I could never quite get it to do really thin lines. Might have just been that did not have my paint mix ratio right.

Anyway, you can see some of the foamies I painted with it HERE.

That was a good question. I was certain the answer was that there would be no improvement just by going to the higher C rating and have posted to that effect in the past. Live and learn.

Hey Lonelasso or JPC,
i happened upon your HDX500 vid today. Do you still have it? I was wondering how it matches up performance-wise to the trex500 or more importantly the Protos. it looks affordable for a 500, but how does it stack up?
Thanks,
Ed

Those look great. My neighbor got one yesterday and I plan on putting it to use this weekend. I am finishing up the EPP Challenger in the next few days, and I hope to be building either that YAK55 and my Goolie that just arrived. Not sure I have enough ESCs for the goolie though, but should have everything else. I will paint the Goolie and the Yak with that airbrush and give it a go.

Good job. I just got a gun and I am doing a lot of practice. IT is not as easy as it looks.

Ah yeah, I been meaning to read back to see who I should blame Trying to get #0.9 foam from Motorhead and/or a precut kit too! Never used it before. Might build a Yak with it, then maybe a 22 superslo, but will try the yak55 first. Love the vid of all them hovering. Looks locked in and fun. My Gene Bond yak is pretty good at hovering in low to no wind, but standard flight is lacking a bit. Was going to do his smaller one, but will try this one first.

for indoor flying that .9# foam looks insane! i'd love to try it out but i never fly indoors. outdoors the 1.3# 9mm model on a small 3s is great, even handles moderate wind pretty well. if you want one to fly indoors after you see how good the indoor one flies, just do the standard build, i built 2 light versions and they werent very fun outside.

this day the winds were around 10 mph and it was still a blast
