Have you guys heard anything about the new Hi-Tec servos that slip instead of strip ?
I saw them advertised here on an RC Groups banner, but can't find much info (due out next month).
If they can deliver on this claim, this is very exciting.

Any chance of a review from IH or ATTF ?
(that would be a real coup).

Just a quick note to ask everyone not to fly near animals. I was smiling at the description of the Golden Retriever chasing Diggs's foamie, and the SloFly is probably not that dangerous, but these propellers turn fast and can easily take out an eye. Even more so for a 3D Hobby Shop-sized plane with 400 watts. If you wouldn't do something near little kids, then please don't do it near dogs either.

Sorry, back to our regularly scheduled fun,
Daniel

hi guys, quick question...i was thinking to use my crappy old eflite (cp pro) 72mhz tx for my slowstick. what rx would i use for it? i think it's futabe-type single converstion crystal (i have barely any idea what i'm talkin about hehe, just read that in a post) i don't wanna pay for the overpriced eflite 4n1...so i was lookin on bphobbies.
i'm dreaming of makin the ss an fpv plane and that's why i started thinkin of switching it to 72mhz...
thanks,
ed

Hey Chris, Diggs, and Jamie, I have a question.
I have a Zune Mp3 player and have the Zune software set to automatically check and download new episodes when they show up as available. However, they never show up as available till about 3-4 days after the episode is posted....But, I can go to the ATTF.com site and see that the latest podcast is up.

Any ideas what may be the cause?

I maybe wrong, but I don't think you can use that TX for a SS. Well, you might if you used rudder on the left stick (BLeh). I think the CCPM mixing on that TX will cause you fits. I tried it once way back when I first started flying planks and remember my elevator and ailerons moving at the same time because of that mixing. Again, I was very green to setting up a plane, and it could have been me, but I remember someone saying it will not work.
