I am sure Larry will have the cam ready Saturday for the maiden flight. Right now my living room is so full of planes, I can't open up a spot big enough for it to sit flat and get a pic. It is sharing the room with the 110 Rascal, the 80 Senior Kadet, Freedom 3D, E3D, Gee Bee Fantasy Racer, Slow Stick X, Yak 55, Lightning ball, 2 radians and 2 Ritewing Demon Lites. Yes the trailer is empty at the moment. And I have yet to install the graphics on her. I will do that after the maiden if my neighbor can get some free time to help me out with that. He applies graphics to vehicles all the time, so I figure this will be cake for him and it would look much better than if I did it.

Probably my usual time around 1330. Just give me a call or IM and let me know where. I don't have any planes this time, so won't be flying. But would love to watch for a bit.

Nine sorry.
And Ok. I never thought of that.
I have a friend in Indiana who is telling me about 20-25 bucks shipped for (2) 9 foot servo extensions. How does that sound?

And that might be just what I need. Maybe overkill though???

You can buy the wire and connectors. All you need is a soldering iron and a crimping tool.

You might want to look at getting a couple of extra receivers to put out in the wings. Lots of large models use multiple receivers and if you retire the plane the receivers will be more useful than the long wires.

Thats a good point. So when I ran the "secondary" rx's.
They would just be reviever packs, RX, then servo? Correct?

Yes... Unless you have to regulate voltage.

When I posted that I had forgotten you are building a sail plane, so you probably don't need the weight of a battery at each RX. You would still need to run wires in that case. But if you were to do it you would just plug the servo into the appropriate channel say 6 for one side and 1 for the other and a power source. The central RX would have no connection for ailerons.

This is a topic for AG's build thread so I won't say any more than this:
RX pack may weigh less than the wire to service the servos. Besides, on a plane that big...you won't notice the weight.
