Hey - Y'all need to give a heads-up to the folks that you're gonna answer their PSC questions on a show. I was navigatin' Atlanta traffic and almost spilled my drink when I heard ya call my name on the pod-cast.
Seriously though, great discussion and thanks for the follow-up guys. Lookin' forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Hey Memphis - I'm curious regarding the local favorite for BBQ. I had a friend recommend Rendezvous for ribs. I, however, was not a huge fan. What is considered the best by the locals?

I don't know which pic Ash was on about but there was mention of a pic and there has been a decided lull since the Red pic which is nothing short of AWESOME IMO (Which is all that matters)

I have several 6s packs ranging from 3300 to 5000 mAh and would prefer to use those. I also have a Jeti spin 90 opto ESC that I plan on using with a LiFe pack for the RX and servos. What is appropriate Scorpion motor? thanks.
I think it is actually Scorpion 4025-12 that runs at 440kv. It's was recommended by 3DHS as an acceptable setup as I recall. I have one and think it is fine for the 71" on 6s. I've been flying mine on a 10lbs Telemaster. It will not hover on a 6s5000/17" prop but it comes close. I've been considering either buying another one or switching it into the my 70" Slick. I'm a little concerned that it will be a touch small for my liking.

There are several 8s setups on Youtube but I think the Axi you described is a little heavy (@23oz) in combination with the 8s batteries.

Anyway, I hope this gives you a little idea of what it will do.
