+1 on this suggestion, cheap and easy and 3ft of surgical tubing will make a bunch of Orings.

Diggs, I don't know if this helps but I have shimmed prop adapters with electrical tape before. Basically, I wrapped the prop shaft (yes it was too small) tightly and carefully with the tape until it was shimmed out enough to center the back plate of the spinner. I wrapped it so the edge of the tape was perfectly aligned with the base of the shaft. I then held the backplate on and used it as a guide trim off the excess tape, not covered by the backplate. Then I just mounted everything up normally. I guess it's not ideal but it worked great and everything seemed balanced enough. Let the small shaft jokes continue...

I have the same Scorp and it just went into a Vyper today. It came out of an 8' Telemaster. I really like it and am thinking about buying another for my Slick.

BTW- For those of you out there that pray... Keep the Japanese in mind. As if it wasn't bad enough, things are sounding pretty dicey today.

Fishing shops (for holding lead pencil weights)

Also look for "Theraband" tubing. It's used for resistance training. Comes in all sorts of thicknesses.

If you know anyone with a small glider like a Fling, get a foot of their high-start.

Your local drug dealer should be able to keep you well stocked.

Lowe's sells it by the foot. You want 3/8" Cut them about 1/8" to start, if you still have slippage increase the width.

The wider it is, the slippier it has to be.

Ummm... why do you know so much about the cosmetic department in Wal-Mart AND the goings on of braided hairs..

The fact that you say "chick friends" means you don't have any.
