The spinner is from extremeflight. about half way down the page. Bought two of these.
3.00 (76mm)- nylon cone with aluminum backplate
http://www.extremeflightrc.com/html/Accessories.html
I am guessing the hole in the backplate is 8mm and the shaft on the motor is 6mm per the specs below.

The motor is a Scorpion 4025-12

Specifications

Stator Diameter ............................ 40.0 mm (1.575 in)
Stator Thickness ........................... 25.0 mm (0.984 in)
No. of Stator Arms ................................................ 12
No. of Magnet Poles ............................................... 14
Motor Wind ........................................... 12 Turn Delta
Motor Wire ..................... 22-Strand 0.25mm (30 AWG)
Motor Kv ............................................ 440 RPM / Volt
No-Load Current (Io) @ 21 v ...................... 1.80 Amps
Motor Resistance (Rm) ............................. 0.022 Ohms
Max Continuous Current ............................... 85 Amps
Max Continuous Power .............................. 2000 Watts
Weight ...................................... 347 Grams (12.24 oz)
Outside Diameter .......................... 48.7 mm (1.917 in)
Shaft Diameter ............................... 6.0 mm (0.236 in)
Body Length .................................. 46.2 mm (1.819 in)
Overall Shaft Length ..................... 101.0 mm (3.976 in)

Any helpful advice other than viagra for my motor? Sure is a pretty day out, would love to have this resolved and potentially maiden this bird.

Really doesn't make sense. As best I can tell the EF motors are 6mm shafts. No hole dia listed on spinners at all

Diggs, do you have any of the APC prop inserts? Might try and see if you can find one that fits the spinner backplate and the motor shaft...

FOUND IT! Ok, I don't remember these coming out of the bag, but obviously they did. I stuck them in the big cup holding all my parts for the slick. But yes there is a nice aluminum spacer that works perfectly! Thanks for the input folks.

I worked with Kyle and Amanda at a couple of airshows...they were top notch.

I hope they both pull thru ok.
