I'm sure it's purely coincidental, but about 15 minutes after I unleashed my tirade (I truly don't do that very often guys) I got an e-mail from Steve suggesting that the tracking number HAD been sent to me, and I just didn't get it. He provided it "again", and then went on to say that UPS will drop it on my doorstep today. Before I let myself go too far and subsequently need a change in underwear, I went to UPS myself, and their records show it's still wandering around the state of Georgia, and will get to San Diego tonight, and hit my doorstep tomorrow. ALL IS FORGIVEN once it gets here. OK for PA to proceed with the Turbine Toucan or equivalent for that size 50 motor that PA is holding in the closet.

It's raining here, Crash, and while we don't have snow here near the coast, about 50 miles east of here, there's a blizzard raging. So rather than flying, I should be building. Maybe tomorrow when that brown truck drives up?

Thanks for the sympathy, guys. Like all PA based forums, this group is a good 'un.

Good winds.

I was on the back order list several months and confirmed my order on the 9th of Dec. I was told they do not bill until the order is shipped so I bet you will have it soon.

Just feel lucky your down there where you can fly year round.
I'm deep in my Beaver den and it's snowing with a 20mph wind blowing.

Yeap... snow today, more for Friday, then again Monday. I'm thinking you may be far enough north of me that we don't see the same weather patterns though. Anyway about it, we know about short flying seasons...

RJ,

Just to clarify, we did not charge the card before it was ready to ship.

Please remember its Christmas time and UPS service may not be the best during this time of the year when they are so overloaded. Past few days they picked up the boxes at 7pm instead of 3:30 (still going on that night truck).

You are VERY welcome to call Steve on 770-292-9122 and sort any issues you may have.
As you can see here on the thread, each and every person who had a problem called Steve or emailed him and got a quick and helpful reply.

same here Bri; I get a lot of my OTA tv from the same mountain you do, (Mt Mansfield) and the usual weather reports usually indicate that you and I are pretty much in the same "snowmobile"

Now the snow I don't mind so much, it's the cold, persistent winds loaded with moisture that really me off. (like tonight for instance, the mercury says -7C but 86% relative humidity and a gentle 10km/h "breeze" makes it feel at least twice that cold. were it sunny and 10% relative humidity the same -7 would feel totally bearable even to just stand there flying multiple packs without a tx mitt. (which I don't have)

You guys need a heated ice fishing hut with a big window so you can sit inside and fly. BTW, it was 75F here today

No I didn't get to fly, but my toys now have a nice heated/air conditioned workshop to rest in between outtings. Next step is to put in a new work bench to assemble new PA toys on!

75F eh? Better bundle up there Herc, wouldn't want you to come down with the flu and be unable to post a new vid

You guys in the south, particularly you guys with AMR's owe it to us to be flying, shooting/posting videos and talking about it twice as much during the winter.
