I've recently finished my green AMR as well, and it sounds like your flying experiences are similar to mine. I've had a hard time trimming the plane, it's quite pitch sensitive, and often feels like the c/g or trim changes after I tumble the plane.

Well, the c/g is NOT changing, the battery is secure and nothing else moves. The trim, I'm sure it's not changing due to the radio.

I have now decided it's a crummy elevator servo. I bought the IPA's pro pack, and to be honest, I'm not all that happy with the servos at all. First to replace will be the elevator. It is visibly double centering, and definitely wanders during flight. I will get it trimmed to fly level at 3/4 throttle, do a couple maneuvers, and suddenly the elevator is out of trim enough for the airplane to do fairly tight upright loops hands off. Not cool.

I can't wait to get this plane flying decent, because so far, it's not much fun.

Haha... I was trying to get it to land on the small patch of dry-ish ground just in front of that puddle! That was why I was muttering "come on... come on".

Hi Crash Prone, my problems sound quite similar to yours but not as drastic. I can't tell from eye whether the elevator servo is centering right or not. However, the Turnigy 210 DMGs I am using do have a visible amount of slop in the servo's actual gear train.

In addition to elevator weirdness, I have some odd behaviour flying inverted on the ailerons - the plane will want to roll ever so slightly. It tracks mostly straight when flying upright.

I think I will have to bite the bullet and swap out all my servos to be sure. There goes my 20g weight savings hahaha.

you will not notice the additional weight, go with some higher end servos.

I figured. My main concern is the tail servos, I might not be able to overcome the added weight by simply rearranging the battery.

Heck it I'll change the servos out anyway.

All of this talk of AMR's made me fly mine today. Hahahahah it's a hoot and I finally bothered to take the time to get my KE mixes sorted out. It is soooo stable in harriers and just awesome in forced fast torque rolls.

What a top little plane. Hands uo who wants a bigger version ?

It does sound like a bad servo because the AMR doesnt usually have those issues. I've got Hitec HS-65MG all round and they do a good job. If I were building it today I might go for Savox SH-0257 all round for their speed and digital precision, but the Hitecs are fine.
