I had a little time with mine tonight too. I got the cabane struts put together and a list built for the LHS for tomorrow morning.

What are you buying from the LHS for the plane?

Well, the eflite ultimate looks nice, I like the scheme and the scale looks but eflite is not known to build with durability in mind, I don't like the scheme if the seagul ultimate one bit and that alone would probably be enough to keep me away. The zero gravity looks nice, but not nearly as nice as the PA ultimate. The only feedback I have heard so far of the eflite pitts is your present post and it doesnt inspire me to go out and buy one to say the least... The great planes reactor bipe has to be the ugliest plane I have seen all year, with a significant margin...

Let's compare AUW's and power system requirements/costs too, my money says PA's plane is more expensive to buy the airframe but once decked out it balances that out especially once you buy 4 packs, am I right? I am too lazy to do the research right now (also because to me, there is no decision to be made; AMR it will be)

I just looked up the zero gravity pitts, because of all the bipes in this list, if I were not allowed to buy the PA I would probably go for the pitts; it's got less wing area than the PA AMR, AND... drumroll weighs about 48 ounces!!! You could put 2x 3s 2100mah prolite packs in parallel in your AMR and still have a lower wing loading.


PA AMR FTW!!! (and I mean that in every possible way; Mr A. M. R. for the win and PA for the win!! )

I can speak for the ZG Pitts. ZG provides grate customer service and support, it is a well built airframe, it includes quality hardware, and it flies awesome. I like it so much I just bought my 3rd one. My 1st one I dumb thumbed it in hard, I repaired it and then gave it to a friend. My 2nd one some dumb left his antenna down on his radio. I just ordered my 3rd one and hopefully I don’t rekit it again. Anyhow, it will not be in the same class as the AMR due to wing loading. I don’t think you can go wrong with ether one so sell that “oh so fragile and under-performing E-Flite Pitts Model 12 15” and get both the PA AMR and the ZG Pitts. I put my money where my mouth is and bought a 3rd ZG Pitts and I just can’t wait to get my AMR.

I need a purple AMR too.
