For Sale
DCU MiG-17 fuse...I think.

This is either a MiG-15 or -17 fuse, and I think it's by DCU. I bought it 2nd-hand for a slope scale project I'm never going to get to. If someone is interested I can provide more pics. Decent glasswork, never flown, never finished. 51" long, 23 oz, $60 + shipping. I can provide CNC foam cores to your specs at extra cost if desired.

Nauga,
who is running out of boxes

To whoever bought the Mig-15 fuse. It is a copy of a DCU Mig-15. DCU Mig-15 has fin molded into the fuse. I have a DCU Mig-15. It is the same size as the DCU Mig-15. Also I have a set of DCU Mig-15 full size plans and building instructions.

This is definitely NOT a COPY of a DCU MiG-15. I have a DCU MiG-15 (with drawings) that is NOT for sale but is available for comparison. This one is about 8-10" longer, quite a bit fatter, no fin, no bifurcated inlet, the root airfoil stub is about 3" longer in chord and accordingly thicker. In other words it has almost nothing in common with a DCU MiG-15 other than the approximate shape and the material. I'm trying to be up front with what I know about the fuse - please don't cloud it with speculation.

edit: My issue is not with calling it a -15, it's the implication that someone copied DCU's work - that is most certainly not the case.

I've been informed that it is definitely a MiG-15. In that case I'd say it's definitely NOT a DCU.

Sale Pending.
