I gather this is not like the Wattage one. Is it bigger? WHat kind of powerplant you going to put into it? Is there a better pic of it?

Argh! Patrick, you beat me to it. I am going to Paris for my bi-annual visit in April and have my wallet set on a couple of those EPP pushers. They look good in the picture, but How do they look in person? Pictures? Close-ups? I was planning on using a small brushless like the mini-ac direct or one of the brushless that NPM sells, what do you think?

What setup were you planning?

I'd like to get the eurofighter and the grippen.

They all come with more or less the same look.

1 fuselage. Long... I will have to carry it back with me, in the plane
2 pieces for the wings
1 tail
Few pieces of wood and some few other details.

All EPP pieces are white, just the cockpit is pre-painted black.

The whole thing comes in a platisc package, very much ARF.

I heard it can take easily a 400 or 480 motor but I am not sure I will do it. Maybe I will just leave it as Combat model, for the slope. It could certainly take one of these small brushlesses too. The place for the motor is ready build.

I can't send you picture from where I am. It is already not easy to even connect to the INTERNET.... I will be back in 1 week, and will be able then. Be aware that even the keyboard here is different and few letters are not at the same place "QWERTY" keyboard users are used too, for reasons of languages differences, but the results is that it is a pain to use it for me now...

Price is expensive, I think. 90 Euro.

But maybe it is an amazing worth the price plane ??? I will know more after I come back.

Hope it helps.
Patrick.

http://www.rcm-pelikan.cz/

costs 54 Euro (1700 cz Kron) if bought directly from them...

I bought it 90 Euro from NPM.....

54 Euro seems much more reasonnable for this plane.

By the way, the manual is in Tchec, I would have hoped that for the extra price, it would have been translated but not even.

So far, price wise, not good....

Patrick- Glad to hear that you were vacationing in France. How was the skiing? Was there a good amount of snow? I'll be there in April and was thinking of skiing if they have enough snow.

As for the plane, it looks like it could be fun. I can't wait to see yours setup. I just ordered two from an Austrian company and paid 57 euros and 14 euros for shiipping. Not bad. 57 for each ofcourse. I have thought that New Powers prices are good for some things and "Paris" expensive for others. But they are nice guys that work there, so I always buy something

I look forward to seeing yours completed. And can't wait for the flight reports.

Oh here is the austrian website http://modelle.hepf.at/

Hi Clayton,

The guys at NPM are indeed very nice and knowledgeable as well, and I feel exactly the same, meaning I did and will continue to buy from them, just for this reason.

As for snow, it was an amazing week. 1.3 m in the station, 3m up in the top of the mountain.
Cold enough so the snow won't melt during the day and become ice, sunny all the time and not many people.

The people there explained to us that there were not many people because there was such much snow this year in France, that all the little sky resorts opened and the ski population got dispatched between all of them.

I don't know what will be in April but now, it was one of the nicest ski holidays I had, really.

Going back to the topic, I will add HEPF to the list of "Favorite" commercial links immediately, on "Electron".

And I will publish reports and pictures as it will go.

Bye,
Patrick.

Well, patrick if you ever find yourself in America in the winter you must try to come to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It is the best resort here in the US. We typically get the best snow. The best months are February and March.

Back to topic. The hepf website is in German but they reply to emails in english.
