Foam works foam cutting software issue

I am looking for somebody who may be able to help me with a Foam works CNC software issue. I have drawn my airfoils in ACAD and have made them a polyline, I transfer the dxf over to CadWorks and it shows the drawing just fine, I can get it to generate a sequential dat file and then I save it into foamworks. When I try to open the file in foamworks I receive a error code stating. ( Error encountered, Error Number 11, Division by zero Module 14, GCF.)

Has anybody ran into this issue? Can you help?

Thank you,

Chris

you would explode the polyline before saveas the dat file.

my step in cadwork
1."explode" the polyline, (edit menu)
2.set the start line (cnc tools menu)
3.recognize the line (cnc tools menu)
4.(i forget) (cnc tools menu)
5.save dat file (file menu)

you get dat file first, then run foamworks , you could do follow step
1.click "parameters" then input your parameters after inputing ,click "setpup complete"
2.click generate cut file ,input your parameters, after inputing click "generate",it will caculate the date you input,at last click "done".
3.click "start cut",you will see your wing drawing.

hope it could help you

Very nice job. I am running into a little problem because I have a highly swept wing I am trying to cut. It has a 17deg TE and a 55deg LE on top of that its only 13" wide.

I will keep trying, thanks for the link.

Anybody happen to know why I keep receiving a "error number 9 script out of range"? This is a regular message I receive when I am trying to generate a dat file in Cadworks from a random drawing.

I am having no problems with airfoils just abstract shapes.

Thanks,

Chris
