T-28 Trojan vs. F4U Corsair (both by parkzone)

Hello all, I am looking into buying a new park flyer. I am trying to decide between the T-28 Trojan RTF and the new F4U Corsair RTF... I need your help. It is basically a tie in my mind. They both come with Li-Po batteries, a 480 brushless motor, steerable landing gear, and they both have a historically accurate paint job. The main difference is that the F4U comes with a Spektrum DX5e 5-channel full-range 2.4GHz DSM2 radio system. I would like you to tell me all of the pros and cons of that plane. I would also like you to tell me the skill level required to fly this plane. Thank you so much. -tyler

The F4U is not out yet.

If you have given up on the Typhoon/T-28 thread ... then how about closing it so folks don't waste their time replying to it.

The F4U will fly quite a bit different than the T-28, you may not be ready for its flight characteristics.

Stick with the T-28.

Although the F4U is not out yet - the radio system is MUCH better as it is 2.4GHz - so that is a known factor.

Knowing Parkzone and E-flite - I suspect the F4U will be a stellar performer - and based on the 1500k post thread on the F4U guys have high expectations of it!

So it is hard to say how it will be to fly - the Trojan is fantastic and a great 2nd airplane. I guess this one will be good also - but don't know if it will be as forgiving as the T-28.

Yep.... I want a F4U and it ain't to be had yet. I have my own radio gear so the extras will get sold or given away. No doubt that this plane will be a blast to fly. I don't care for the dark blue but, I will get over it.
