has anyone mounted your system on a turbine jet yet?

I'd love to see a wide open climb out to 10,000 feet.

yes Tanate, this way to make the antenna 90 deg, is also fine !
good point, sorry I did not have that one on my mind,
but this will also work just as good.

I dont think it will happen here, we have old old rules about jets !
they MUST be RC'ed by ONLY 35MHz systems to be approved or flown legally

Awesome pictures and fantastic weather! There aren't many events like there where I live in Canada.

Ordered also Thomas's system today after waiting a (too) long time for AnthonyRC's AeroLink. After watching Thomas's activities (IFOSD and so on) for a long time already I'm sure he've developed great stuff again with this R/C link .

I've been thinking of how to increase the video range and this is what I came up with:

Use 2 video rx's,one on the launchsite and one on the "edge" of your videotx's range.

Now connect the 2nd rx to a laptop with mobile internet connection.

At the launchsite you'll have 2 screens:1 connected to the videorx on the launchsite and the other connected via internet to the 2nd videorx (that's "waiting" for the videosignal.)

The first screen will provide you info during taking of and the first part of the journey.
The second screen will take over this function and stream the images via the internetconnection to the 2nd screen on the launchsite.

Just and idea...

Sorry Dutchboy I have been hong up, it is on my top list of things to do,
I have not forgot you !
I had a DX6 and a DX7 in my hands last weekend but had no scope with me :-)
how ever I saw the connectors they both use are this 3.5mm stereo jack,
so hardly no power supply in that plug, so you have to figure out another external battery pack ? or install another connector with pins that can handle battery power without risk of shorts and falling out, that is what I would have done sinse the DX6/DX7 will contain a battery voltage alarm or manegement of some sort that can indicate the charge, right ?

NEWS: the 15km FPV range record video have finally been approved,
the price will be send to the winner next monday !
so now the next range to beat is 20km to get the next price.

Wow, 15 km, great Thomas ! Just noticed on your website, it was the same customer Johannes again, seems to be a specialist for long range flights !

well 15km is still only the beginning :-)

this site I just found :
http://www.reflex-sim.de/reflex-sim/...?faqPath=15_35
click transmitters to find your TX and see the connection to get PPM out
you can on many transmitters also sneak out the power supply to power the external UHF transmitter box.
I have a meeting tomorrow at 11AM with a DX7 owner, so no need to wait much longer dutchboy :-)
