I am using all 7, to have the inboard flaps, outboard flaperons (my own mod) and retracts. Previously I have always plugged the RX power supply into any unused channel. My question is, can I simply use one of the active channels (eg elevator) with a Y-harness? Is anything compromised in such a setup?

I'm fairly certain you can Y harness the battery with any servo in any servo channel for juice without problems, try it and check things out.

Was at Wal-Mart last night and picked up this. The price is right! A little paint and it'll look great. The back of the box showed another group with an even better looking pilot figure but they didn't have it.
