RC Lander Panther

Just noticed this at www.rclander.com

Wing span: 1050mm
Length: 1000mm
Height: 300mm
Flying weight: 900g
Servo: 8g x 6pcs or 7pcs
Power system: Brushless electrical ducted fan.
Function: Retract landing gear system, full scale flap performance (optional)
ESC: 40A or above
Radio: 5 to 6 CH

The video looks impressive .

Is this a new model or a reincarnation of something else, anyone got one, looks like a MF480 drop in 4S big smile machine !!!!

I think Robert Wagoner at EJF is getting them. Don't know who will have them on your side of the pond.
Looks really nice.

I hope they do. Finally getting some older jets out there that I may want. Haven't looked lately to see if the Xflight is still available, which had almost got the order button hit before too.

Wagoner posted a pic of it in the "No $200 foamies" thread, but it has been removed due to advertising. You'll probably need to e-mail him to see if he carries it.

X-flight still sell the panther and I too had the finger on the buy button a few times, all that was stopping me was my inability to paint a model to a decent standard, this looks like the answer and from what I am hearing the 4s metal fan is quite a work of art ....

This one looks real nice. Would save all the effort required to build the X-Flight one.

I bet it would Lucky just be real heavy. I am just going to be starting to buy higher mah packs for my EDF uses. My planes are all getting into the really high amp draw areas now. So I guess its time they have thier own packs.

I do have a question though. Why in all the pics of it there is not one of the bottom ? The intakes look really small. Granted it could just be the look but its almost like it needs a cheater at least a slow speeds. Love the scale looks but is it just me?
