is there a brushless motor for a rc10 t3???

i just found a old rc10 t3 in my closet and i am starting to fix it back up but i just relized the engine was burnt out

so i was just wondering if there was a brushless motor that i could use and if so where can i get one for cheap

no brushless setup is cheap man,your looking at almost $200 for a 1/10 sized brushless motor esc combo! your converting a nitro to electric,you will have to fabricate a motor mount,and put a different pitch gear setup on the tranny.iv done 5 brushless conversions from old nitro cars and trucks,nothing is cheap unless you can find esc motor combo under $100

it would be cheaper and more efficent to buy a vxl rustler for under $300

i also noticed that a brushless motor has 3 connectors and the engine that i have right now only has 2...so would i have to just buy a whole new kit

you need a brushless esc motor combo,brushless motor requires a brushless esc,your looking at $200 for that,$160 at the lowest,unless you buy no name brand from ebay

yes

i believe two are for power and the other is for control

kind of like a servo

so if i do buy a whole new set up for it, would it be hard to put together because im not the best at working on cars, and this is like my first one that im actually truly putting together

2 bolts for motor,install pinion and plug in esc to the reciever! simple!

castle creations is the best start,good quality great value,awesome performance.
i use the traxxas vxl system,but id prefer a castle esc with the vxl motor!

I would just get this controller for $45 and one of their $20 motors. I'm using one of their xl motors and 100 amp controllers in my revo and it hauls.
