Kontronik ESC's-- Can they be used for any dual brushless?

I would like to have a dual brushless setup using non Kontronik Brushless. Preferably, two mega 16/15/3's Is this possible?

I thought that since the kontrnik BL could be used dual motors one Esc that maybe it was the ESC that has the ability to "synch" the motors. Is this true?

There is no guarantee but judging on what I've read here in these forums the Kontronik is your safest bet.
