AXIAL AX-10 Scorpion battery plate
I believe there is an optional battery plate made for the original kit version of the Scorpion which relocated the battery. Anyone got any photos of how it actually installs? I know you can strap custom battery packs either side of the steering servo, but I'm intrigued as to what this factory option does.
I haven't got a crawler yet, but I'm leaning towards the Scorpion kit (metal links and rods), and not the latest plastic rock racer thingy they've released. I'd be getting the Rooster ESC with 55 turn motor. Cheers, Tach. |

I put my battery on the front servo to get weight on the front..but i run li-po's..

All the battery plate does is extend the stock servo plate on the front axle. It mounts to the 3 points that the original steering servo mounts to. Most guys use the stock battery plate that comes with the kit mounted on the front axle. You will have to drill new holes in it using the stock servo plate as a guide. It's a simple and free mod!
