Alot is going to depend also on how many cells and what type of servos. Many BEC setups are rated at 1-1.5 amps.
If the surfaces and linkages are very free and you use good servos (like Hitecs) and you keep the cells to 8 or less with good ESC cooling. Testing the servos under load is a good idea, trying to keep the load less than 1/2 the BEC output.
You also don't want to use a servo that is to small for the job, but not to heavy either.
4 servos should be OK if you keep the above in mind.
