My CG is at 108mm. I like it there. I thought of moving it forward, but now that I've flown it a few times, it won't change.

Hi Target
my Explorers are with x-tails,3,50m CG-108mm
Some better pilots than me practise it with CG-113mm.

And I can say again that Explorer 3,80m is the great!

I'd like to know that too...out of the box weight, not AUW. Much appreciated if anyone has that info

New Xplorer

Well, after all the talk here, i went and got myself an Xplorer d-box. the pickings were slim so i didnt have many options with colors, so i got a green and red xplorer. the green is awesome. Bob calls it the kawasaki green and that is a great description. i fly in clear and overcast skies here in socal so i wanted something darker than yellow or white. this plane is beautiful and immaculate! the build is very clean and looks fantastic. this is my first TD moldie so understand i am not the best judge, but i am quite critical of my models, and this plane passes the visual inspection very easily.

the team down at SUSA really out-did themselves. they are a top notch team: friendly, responsive, and very professional. thanks again, Bob, and tell the team i say thanks as well!

i cant wait to get this bird in the air. balancing school and building, this build might take me a little while, but it should be ready by late spring. watch out everybody, i think this plane is going to be a winner...now all i need to do is work on is my piloting skills. i am sure this plane will out-fly me for many years.
-paul

EDIT: here is what the green/red looks like. its pretty nice looking. where will i sleep you ask? why, with the plane, of course. the girlfriend and the dog will have to sleep on the floor boy, i hope she doesnt see this post

From what I've seen locally, the full carbon is about 5-6 ounces heavier, unlike early claims I've flown both and they both fly great. I actually think the carbon version flew a bit smoother. Maybe the few ounces helped, but setup was different as well.
