Would anyone happen to know the "color code" for this green?
If you take the tip into a good paint store, they can scan the tip and mix up a pretty good match or so I'm told.

Not sure , but it bears a striking resemblance to a memorable scene in The Exorcist!

X repair

Tuan,

Looks clean!!

IF anyone has an interest, we have a couple of sets of 3.8 wingtips/stab sets left from our shipment last week.
Also, plenty of 3.5 X's, and 3.5 X Lites...

Any questions, please email me directly>>>>

Best,
Bob

Hey Tuan, what color is the bottom of the wing? On my Zenith, plane is red
with dark blue bottoms. The wingtip starting at the root has a wide dark blue
stripe on top and it looks pretty good. Put a contrasting color stripe over the area, I think it would look better than a mismatched color if you tried to match original.http://www.dropshots.com/martaz#date...01-14/13:09:47
Check out this link for a pic and you will see what I mean.

Michael Johnson takes the day (in all classes of flyers) at the MidSouth flying his Xp. I had a great time and flew really well (for me) with my Xp but didn't fair quite as well. Tomorrow's another day of more fun....

I am thinking about getting a new X. Any advice on how to choose between the D-Box, Carbon, or Carbon Lite? I'm interested in thermal duration...

Thanks!

My D-box is doing well, but I haven't encountered any really strong winches in wind, yet. Great flying model...

Edit:::: Mine came in at 71 oz. and is balanced at 108mm behind the Leading edge.

My full carbon came out to 75 ounces - as slow as these things can land I don't see the need for having anything lighter and it gives one extra peace of mind on the winch. Love mine too!

Full Carbon here and 77oz. Confidence of full carbon for me makes the extra weight a non issue for me...

So full carbon it is!!

I have realized that people tend to use the 3421 MG servos for flaps and 368 servos for ailerons... What do you guys think about using 368 for flaps and 168 for ailerons? (in the xplorer, I mean)...

Also, what about using Hitec servos like the HS-5125 for ailerons and HS-5245 for flaps?

Thanks!

I am using DS-168's for my ailerons without any troubles. Be sure to purchase the new version with the brass output gear. The old versions with the sintered aluminum output gear were very easy to strip.
