His performance was absolutely stunning and breath taking and the large crowd in attendance was most appreciative and impressed by the electric powered planes and Bens' skills. Bens' Hacker powered Extra gave up nothing in performance to the 50 or so IC powered planes flown at the event. The fly-in was a huge success and basically carnage free because of the 30+ highly skilled pilots flying. Bens' flights were also enlightning to the all fuel crowd. Ben and I were the only "Electric" guys there. I flew my 87'' to show them how the plane can do ordinary stuff like most of them were doing. Ben Fisher along with Amy helped make this event the best it has ever been! Thanks again Ben and Amy and we hope you both can join us again next year. EK.
Ekotil,

I really hate that I missed this event. Ben had mentioned it to me in a conversation but I couldn't make it.

I'm glad to hear your event went well. I am really happy to hear that Ben put on a great show.

I also love hearing about "Gas guys" with Jaws on the floor.

Hopefully I can make it next year.

Then I thought about making a wing bag that you could slide the wings in from the side instead of the end. My wife was at WalMart and found some cool fabric and with my design and her sewing skills we came up with the perfect "wing tote" for 3DHS wings with SFG's
Let me know what you think.

Thanks, I hope to get my wife to make some for my 55SHP next. Makes it easy to carry and store the wings without having to remove the SFG's

You know yer a 3DHS addict when yer flying "other planes" and you keep hearing in your mind: "Lower!! Lowwwwwer!" Happened tonight flying my Steven's Shaft 400 inverted about a foot off the deck. Nobody else really paying attention to the little electric at dusk....but I cracked a grin while I was flying thinking about all the 3 DHS vids I've seen with the peanut gallery yelling, "lower!!" Hahaha.

Only after over a year now that I can fight off those voices.. (some of the time at least ). I'm just glad that they build so fast, so even as time-strapped as I am, I can still enjoy "pushing" the envelope.

They're not gone... but like all good Schizos do, they know the voices, acknowledge the voices, and live in harmony with them .
