Big Engine in small Plane
Hi i have a lot of Q´s ofcourse it is becouse i have just started with the whole Rc Deal.
I bought a GP-25 Challenger Trainer, by Sonic Tiger, but i was a bit dumb and bought a 46os Evolution engine and modified the Engine support so it fits in nicely,. Now i was wondering on how wil this affect the aircrafts performance? And wil i need to add some extra waight and in whitch section of the aircraft? Could someone please help me on this one? I most welcome an e-mail with some helpfull tips. Txs 2 all.

The section your looking for if you haven't already found it - Aircraft - Fuel - Airplanes If you haven't flown before, putting a bigger engine in a model just means you have a quicker way of destroying it. |

With a trainer, the last thing you want is a more powerful motor, because it will be heavier, so it will need to fly faster to stay up. Plus the heavier the plane the harder it crashes! Butch
