NZ Slope DVD

Hi all,

Starting in october this year, I am starting on a slope soaring DVD featuring flying sites through out new zealand starting in the south island till easter next year then all the north island.

It would be great if people can advise me on sites that they fly from, to be included in the DVD. Also if it is a group that fly from a area, we will try to arrange a group day a well.

Hi there Dave I'm from the far north. I wish I could help you out but unfortunately no-one here flies. Good luck with your DVD, how far north will you be coming?

Hi Stripy,

I won't be up the far north untill winter next year, I have been there once and the is lots of poss.slope sites. I will be adding to this thread as we travel around.

there are plenty around blenheim, including a couple of awesome slopes with great backdrops. You'd probably have to hook up with a couple of locals, let me know closer to the date and I'll see if I can a)hook you up b)give you directions.

The camera is primed and ready to go for sloping Manawatu.

Hi everyone.

Sorry if I am changing the topic slightly but a few weeks ago I saw an ad for a DVD company in NZ which had posted a 3 minute video contest for slope - closing date, September 2009. I answered this ad but received no reply. I didn't save it into my favourites. This thread would now appear to have dropped off RCGroups. Anyone know about this please?
