I added a new video.. It was actually the first take, so in part, I was still figuring things out. But there are hints about making turns, etc, that will be worth watching. Not to mention a hint on what inverted harrier clinic will look like .

I think it also shows how well the transparent Tx helps when watching a training video. As long as the plane is close enough you can see both at the same time, but with a PIP you can only watch one thing at a time.

Very very good videos and that was a nice smooth landing on the second one in the wind . I think I'm liking the second videos format a little better but both are a job well done and both are saved to my computer. Keep em comin.

Pimp.. I always believe that a smooth landing is a must for 3D pilots. It help convince those naysayers that we do fly the plane, and that we have full authority and control of the aircraft at all times, not just flopping it around .


I posted this in the Slick thread, but it's worth mentioning, so here it is.

Guys,

I got a couple of more flights on the Slick.... man this plane flies so well, that it messes with my plan to show what I need to do on my 3D clinic .

For example, Clinic #1, I was trying to rock the Slick back and forth to show that overcontrolling will induce wing rock. Much to my dismay, the Slick didn't do that , which forced me to say... "well, the Slick is such a stable design that is well dampened, that it doesn't rock."

Case #2, I was trying to show how goosing the throttle can induce wing rock... Again the Slick failed to win rock with throttle goosing, which prompted the comment, "Well, I guess with smaller prop you won't notice the rock as much."

Case #3, On the KE Spin Clinic, I was doing just rudder to show that you need to add some left aileron ... Again, the Slick failed me by doing a perfect KE spin with rudder and down elevator.

Case #4, On the Blender Clinic, I was going to show how full down and full right rudder will give good spin, but not perfectly flat.
.... yes, you can guess again. The Slick "failed" me again, buy doing a near perfectly flat - flat spin without aileron input.

... if I keep this up, I might need to fly another plane to show people how to make corrections on their 3D flight .

These are great videos. Method 2 with the TX in the lower right is better IMHO. Great flying and instruction.

I know it's been said before but thought I'd say it again. Awsome video and instruction. Really like the Tx overlaid on the plane footage. It really does help being able to see both. Looking forward to more clinics. Thanks

I think when I posted "New Video", I was referring to the second upright harrier video . As for the battery, Someone must be looking out for me. I don't think she would've taken one more tumble .
