Well, since I watched the video, I put 2 packs ea. through my 55" SHP and SR.
I'd never tried a harrier before with the wind. Always into the wind and kept getting a bit of wing rock.
My first pack on each plane I went with the wind, (big difference on wing rock, a Lot less), second pack both ways.

I did find that I didn't have enough expo, (for me anway), until trying this.

Josh, can you post your control throws and expo, (high and low), with the video(s).

Thank's again for taking the time to do this for all of us.

George

What codec is the file using? I'm getting an error message--I just downloaded the newest DIVX codecs and still no luck.

Ron,
Inverted, and rolling harriers is definitely in the book, as well as hovers... now if only I can master the torque roll in time .

George,
I've updated the 2nd post to show the expo settings

Jon,
Just a standard windows codec. If you have WMP version 10 / 11 will definitely be able to play them.

Thanks!

I started with the Recommended settings on each of my planes but, was curious about yours.
It is a matter of flying style also.
I'm still trying out a few things on each plane to see how they relate to mine.

Josh,

Thanks for the great video nicely done! Your wife did a fine job with filming it, too! As an 3D pilot-in-training, this has provided a lot of nice tips. Bravo!

Can't wait for clinic #2.

God bless,

Napo

I forgot to ask Josh, What camcorder are you using for your videos?
I need to ask Ben the same question.

The one that I have isn't very good in bright sunlight, (Can't see the viewfinder very well.)

Thanks,

George

Josh, I don't mean to give you a hard time but, I can't resist.

Are you gonna do an egg drop clinic too?

OK Josh; I watched a couple more times and I totally appreciate the Tx being full screen. Really awesome, please keep them coming!

Good video. Next time though, you should put the transmitter inputs in a smaller seperate screen in the bottom corner. That way, there is nothing blocking the view of the plane, and the transmitter isn't transparent.

You could make some money off of these videos. Sell all of the ones you make in a video, so people can see how maneuvers are done. You can get some pros (like Andrew Jesky) to show us how it's done

Nice job Josh. I think a lot of pilots will find these videos extremely helpful. It's always good to see other's techniques even if you feel you have a maneuver down.

Thanks guys, my purpose was never to make money out of these things. I just see a need, and am doing my best to fill it.

Xpress,
I tried transmitter on the bottom look, and it doesn't capture the fine movement I'm doing with my fingers. I think it's easier to guess what the plane is doing compared to guessing what my fingers are doing.

If I'm not doing the equivalent of TWO full time jobs AND being a full time student (which is what being an Orthopaedic resident is all about ), I'd love to do more, and do fancier stuff. But for now, this will have to suffice, as time is sorely lacking for me .

BTW, if you guys do things a little differently, please chime in also. We all could learn from each other.

This is great stuff!!! While I can do harriers, there are MANY other moves I would love to see in this format. Really a great idea. Thanks for the time and effort. The synching of the 2 vid sources has to be a bit complicated. Inn did some great camera work also! Thanks Inn! I did learn the differences in going with and against the wind. I had never even thought about it before. I am making a note now to include a link and mention of your project on our next episode of ATTF podcast!

Thanks for the effort.
