I've had good luck repairing my pranged Ember with a type of Gorilla Glue.

It comes in a small bottle, and dries white. It is moisture activated, and I wet each surface with a damp paper towel. Use sparingly, it expands somewhat as it dries.
This can be a benefit. For instance, if gluing the bottom of the rudder to the fuselage, you find a tiny fillet of sticky, yet non-brittle glue when its done curing. I've repaired a torn off rudder horn, and a torn in two stab this way, with no problems... except my dumb thumbs

Fantastic!! What did you use for the "paint"? Also, can you get a weight on the plane, to see how much extra weight, if any, was acquired. Really neat, an Ember Slow Stick!

I really like the paint job. Like others, what paint, and how much additional, if any, weight (magic marker might not have added any appreciable weight).

How about the "Ember Slow Twig"...?

I used red sharpie to paint the wing and tail, black sharpie for the stripe. The decals are made from photo paper. I printed the crosses out first on inkjet printer, then cut them out with a sharp blade. I will weigh the plane and get back with you. My best guess is 3 to 4 grams added weight less the weight of the original decals. I test flew it yesterday outside in a light wind and did not notice any difference in the balance or flight characteristics. Next time I fly it indoors under ideal conditions I will update you for any difference in flight.

My Tiny Bright Lights came in today and are already on the plane. However, it's too windy to fly it outside right now to see how they look.

Man!!! For something so tiny they sure are BRIGHT!

Sorry, so slow to respond. I haven't looked at this thread in a while. I printed the crosses on photo paper and used Elmers glue for the adhesive.
Worked for me.

By all means, let us know how the product was received. Glad to hear you could get a good deal on this delightful plane. For the life of me, however, I cannot figure out why ParkZone would sell this product through a distributor such as HC/HK.

take a look, I think they weigh between 6.1 and 7g

The 240 1S cells do, indeed, work well on the ParkZone UM P-51 and the UM Sukhoi 26. The cells you see in the E-bay ad are probably the "Zippy" cells, available from Hobby King/Hobby City (when they are in stock), for around $3 each, possibly a little less. Hyperion also makes a 240 1S cell, slightly more expensive, but with better performance. I have both, just recently received from a US supplier, but have yet to use them due to bad flying weather. I have been told by some that the 240 cell may be too much weight (close to 6 grams) for the Ember, but I will try this when I can get calm outdoor air, or at our January indoor event.

Go up on the InDoor Micro forum, or the Micro SF forum and look for the UM P-51 thread(s). There will be info on this 240 pack. I'll try to get a link and post it here as an edit.
