to make your vapor more acrobatic you need to take off the main LG and tail wheel
make sure you have a new prop and that you motor and gear are nice and smooth
maybe get a bigger batt. then fly!
i can almost go verticle
now im seeing how close i can get to the ground without hitting the prop
this is a fun bird
cheers
AG

Is it just me or does it fly better with the battery dangling? Maybe it's a kind of self correcting CG.

Depends on the balance of your individual vapor. Mine flies quite well but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing snaps because of the battery swing. Some adventursome souls would welcome that.

A number of us do it here; it flies great and makes for some interesting acrobatics as you can shift the c.g. to get into different regimes of flight without landing and making adjustments. Just make sure you have something that retains the cable to the CF frame so that the tension isn't being put on the solder pads of the ESC. By default there is a tie but if you've swapped boards or done any mods chances are you may have removed it.

Also watch out for flying batteries if you try doing flips, etc

explosive lithium polymer + velocity / trees in way X surface area of pilots face = duck and cover!
