A Firespray would be cool, but it'd be a huge challenge because of the lack of wing area. If anyone could do it, it'd be SG Talon.

Thanks everyone. Very busy the next couple weeks so no construction until it calms down.

Enterprise first then the SD.

Wait until you see the next design... been thinking it out for a while now and i don't think anyone has ever tried it.

since no one took you up.

From various sources:

The IG-2000 was the starship designed and used by the bounty hunting assassin droid IG-88. It was produced on the foundry world Mechis III.

The Firespray-class patrol and attack ship was a patrol ship designed by Kuat Systems Engineering for use by the Oovo IV security forces. The design seemed to be an evolution on the earlier Republic assault fighter

Several prototypes were constructed. However all but one were destroyed when Jango Fett staged a prison break. Jango kept the sole remaining Firespray, renaming it Slave I. Kuat Systems Engineering, suffering from the financial loss of the prototypes, mothballed the project and concentrated instead on starship upgrades.

OK i see what a Firespray is now!!!

Boba Fett's ship. Why didn't you guys say so! I really don't think i can make that thing fly. It is UGLY anyhow!

On the other hand, the Summer of Space is only half over and i am nearly out of things i want to design. I could use some ideas.

I am probably going to make a cylon to go with it of course!

I was even thinking of making a 4' long Galactica.

I read somewhere (I think Kosh said it on the WattFlyer forums) that delta with a sweep of more than 55 degrees are very hard to control unless they fly fast...

We shall see. I expect to have the Star Fury up and flying this weekend (watch for video!) then i will be building on my Imp SD.

I think with as big as i am making this thing that it is just going to float around. I will have some very large control surfaces on this thing so it should be pretty easy to control.

I am guessing that the total weight is going to be around 16 oz. and i will have about, oh i would say, 1000 cubic inches of wing area.... so roughly .016 oz per square inch of wing loading.

I could probably fly this thing with an AeroAce power system!

What do you guys think? Personally i think it is my coolest one yet!

Some specs. 48" Long. 30" Wide. 23oz thrust motor. Elevon and rudder control. With the motor buried inside it will look very realistic when it is flying. I can't wait for the Imperial March music to play again!
