Cool
Imperial Star Destroyer - Version 2 Plans and Kits available!

OK i had a good weekend of flying and got some work done on my Enterprise. I had a bit of extra time today so i tossed this together...

What do you guys think? Personally i think it is my coolest one yet!

Some specs. 48" Long. 30" Wide. 23oz thrust motor. Elevon and rudder control. With the motor buried inside it will look very realistic when it is flying. I can't wait for the Imperial March music to play again!

Plans now!

CG is 25" From the nose....

************************ ISD 2 Is Here!! ********************************
New design is now available.

Kits and skins are available on my website www.sg-ideas.com

CG and Build Guide to follow...

Enjoy!

not 'till just now! Great job, looked like the rudder wouldn't trim. You should make the star destroyer to scale. JK. Put flashing green leds on the tie, dude. Twould be awesome. I work with that Lowe's foam too; I like how cheap and easy it is to experiment with it, except for the foam safe glue, and the fact that everything turns out blue. And make sure you fly the star destroyer 'scale;' real slooow. And behind a corellian cruiser.

Now we just need a KSE Firespray or an IG-2000. Anyone know what those are? Good question for the hardcore SW fans. Maybe an F-302 from stargate?

I'm really hoping on a KSE Firespray.

YES! I've always wanted to see one of those! Since it's an atmospheric/space fighter it would make a really good scale model. It would be awesome to see one with two EDFs.

A semi-scale Daedalus would be cool too.

Excellent, another Stargate fan. A puddle jumper wouldn't be too hard.

Now you need a Death Star, but I'm not sure how you will make a basketball fly with RC gear. I suppose for a free flight version you could just throw it.

or make a profile version of the death star. Just cut out two circle of foam and attach them to make it a fuselage and wing. and then paint it.

I like the idea of the imbedded prop! Love to see the maiden and build pics.

Holy cow dude! I've been wanting to build a star destroyer for months, but could never figure out the bridge part. As soon as I scrolled and saw the pics, the Imperial March started playing in my head. Seriously. You keep designing planes that inspire me to spend more on electronics. You rock Talon
