Hobby Shops in Las Vegas?

I'll be in Las Vegas later this week and am planning to hit one of the two Hobby People stores (in-store sales, yeah!). Is one better than the other, or are they both the same size? Are there other hobby shops that merit a drop-by? Also, can anyone identify the location of parks or club fields in the area? Thanks.

yeah i would like to know too as i will be there the weekend of the 22!! whooo can tell the fiance that i blue money on the machines but bought planes instead..john

There are a couple of shops I know of in Vegas, if you want boats and barbie dolls try Hobby People but if you are looking for "proper toys" then try the store on Tropicana Ave.

don't do it! at least, don't get married in Las Vegas. Look, already you have to tell her that you lost the money gambling in order to cover up your true addiction! it can only get worse.

wohoa there buddy, hell i am not taking the freak'in death plung just yest just going there to mess around , i have to tell here some thing and my fly'ing herd is getting close to a dozen and the "unbuilt herd is in the upper 20's so i can't hide it much more now, yeck maybe i need to have a huge "sale "

Last year when we went to Vegas my dear wife was nice enough to check for shops in advance.

She dutifully informed me that there were none in Las Vegas. Wasn't that sweet of her?

As I will be in Vegas on the first week of July, I too am interested in finding out the hobby shops and flying sites (preferably indoor) in the area.

I was just there yesterday. Unless if you want to melt in the 100+ temperature, I wouldn't suggest flying outside.

Too bad Circus Hobbies is no longer there.
