Calling all Aussies!

I would love to know how many locals are involved in this insane but weirdly compelling sport/hobby/pastime.

Its time to stand up and be counted!

I won't claim #1 position

I prefer PI

So I will be

# 3.14159265..etc..

Would the subscribing antipodean correspondents please enumerate yourselves sequentially?

C'mon Aussie!

Hmmm not sure what number I would be. I've been playing with fpv on and off for about 5 years. And I'm 2 hours NNE of Adelaide btw.

I know there are others on this forum. Speak up!

Ha ha Brian!!! Actually he is a fine representation of how one should look like when you do not eat at any American corporate fast food restaurants!

Don't know. My waste line has been increasing since I got married. Home cooking will do it to you also!

Hi Wilson,
Looks like the Aussies are a little shy. I thought there was a few more out there somewhere.

My user pic was taken at your home, Waikerie GC

Its my brother in law's new ASH 26E motor glider. A beautiful piece of kit.

Hello Skyfox.
I too flew since a teen. FPV flight is always what I hoped would eventuate with model flying.

ommadawn, really?! Do you know John Copeland by any chance? A good friend of mine, that scratch builds model gliders. He did a copy of the 26 motor glider. And a Stemme 10 1/3 scale btw!!!

The aussies are crawling out of the woodwork finally. Or maybe the pub...
No sorry I dont know John. My brother in law moved his 26 to Lake Keepit GC a few months back. Pic dates to Dec 2006. Glider was brand new then. And absolutely stunning!
