Dimension:
Size the model for a 90mm EFD unit (I recommend a Schubeler DS51-3ph, Pricey but the best out there : http://www.schuebeler-jets.de) Jepe fan is just as good but not designed for 1kw+ applications, more suited is size is slightly less and weight <2,5kg/5pounds. Next is overall size of model, I think 140cm/55" length is a good number and aim for ~3-3,5kg/6-7pounds AUW. => 1kw power from ~25cells. Figure out which motor based on intended cellcount and powerlevel. Cells - apparently the best battery out there at this time is the Sanyo HR-SC2600 NiHM, get'em zapped. Haldor www.halair.com |

Greetings!
Ed, that creates quite an image You've got to love it...Here's a couple of good Viggen sites to peruse: http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazin...blue_peter.htm http://www.scramble.nl/mil/aircraft/...n-database.htm http://www.hotel.wineasy.se/ipms/stu...ail_viggen.htm http://www.flygvapenmuseum.nu/ I particularly like the blue Swedish special scheme on the first web site listed. Fly Fast! Mark |
