HI 2hi2c long time no see
I am wondering why your not having any luck with the os 61 in doing out side loops.
Didn't you say that it was dying on you

Well guys I went to fly today after putting a new motor mount on my T_ _ _T only to find out the throttle servo gear was stripped out.
So after pulling the wing wouldn't ya know it the dowel in the wing was also loose.
I guess this just goes to show ya that no matter how minor the crash is one really needs to check the plane out really well.
Well I just got do inviting several other guys from another web site and I'm hoping to hear from a few.
If all goes well I'll try an get a few flights in tomorrow that is if the little wife doesn't object. You see tomorrow is our 6th anniversary and ya all know how ya gotta keep the little wives happy.
Hey maybe I'll get a New T_ _ _T

Welcome To The T_ _ _taholics Thread Everyone!!!!
A big WELCOME to all the T_ _ _TAHOLICS out there. This is a continuation of a T_ _ _T thread that was approximately 8K posts long and had well over 200K views.
Many of us on here have become very close friends so if there is any innuendo that you dont understand, please feel free to ask, as we are glad to explain or repeat ourselves with out handing out any attitude!
While the topic of this thread is an airplane called a Twist, this thread encompasses a group of people lovingly called TwisTaholics. We will talk about our plane, what is on it, where we house it, the piece of land it flys off of, how much these things may cost us, and who our Twist may sleep with (maybe not even another Twist )We have even discussed Waldos soapbox derby in the past. How is this on topic you ask? Well...it took too much of his time AWAY from his Twist! So you see, anything is possible here.
Also you will notice that we spell the airplane "T_ _ _ T" This is a small demonstration of our unhappiness with customer service from the distributor in the past, so we dont speak "its" name.
Welcome to T_ _ _TWORLD
...aaaaand heeeeerree we go!!!!

Yeah DR every time I see that plane it causes my heart to go thumpty thump.
waldo sent me an email and says he's coming here also.
yeah 6 years so momma should do somthing, like a twist 150 with an os 160.
2hi2c I am wondering if you don't have some other issue with your set-up. it sounds funny that an outside loop would kill the plane and has me very puzzled.
Well I got 2 flights in tonight and am pretty pleased as I took Waldo's advice on how to enter the flatspin. Less is more.
Still her nose was dropped some what but it was less than 45 degrees.
O BTW DR sorry about the name thing

I'm hoping he comes and yeah I always enjoyed that discussion also.

Wahoooo we live again I'll tell you my 61 ran right out of the box and has never quit on me once yet, it is probably the smoothest running motor I have ever owned in 30 some odd years. I want to buy like 40 of them to make sure I always have one.
I sent Down an invite also so I hope he comes here as well.
Good to be back, we lost power last night so I couldn't post but its off to go fly my yellow and purple glory right now.... so later
