E-domodels F-4 phantom first view

Hello guys and gals. Just thought I would let everyone see what the e-domodel f-4 looks like out of the box. My first impressions of this jet are great. The foam quality is as good as the edo f-15 and includes the typical rtf servos/motor/esc that edo used in their f-15.

1. Specifications:

Wingspan: 620mm(24.7 inches)
Length: 39.5 inches
Weight: 21.8 ounces

2. Configuration:

ARF version includes:
18L Brushless inrunner motor
30A Brushless ESC with BEC and Deans-style connector
4 9 gram servos
64mm Ducted fan unit
3 cell lithium-polymer battery with balancing tap and Deans-style connector
Balancing charger

RTF version also includes:
Quality 4 channel FM transmitter and reciever

3. characteristic:

Sport scale electric ducted fan jet model
Unique design featuring a single ducted fan unit while retaining twin engined looks
Precision molded EPS airframe with outstanding detail and scale appearance
Excellent flying charachteristics, will loop, roll, fly inverted, and do most other maneuvers
Steerable nosegear for good ground handling
Excellent handling in at both high and low speeds
Very powerful preinstalled power system allows quick takeoffs
Quality lithium-polymer battery gives long flight times
Balancing charger for power, safety, and long battery life

Here's some pics for my felllow ezoners. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them for you..

best regards,
William (Turbo Fan Electrics)

Hey, good to see that you got one!

I'm curious as to what you'll be charging for the version with Airframe, Servos, Power Unit, and ESC...?

It's $140 at RC-Castle... what's the U.S. price?

I'm also interested in seeing what the actual performance is.
It looked like it was really scooting in their video.... let us know!

Thanks!

Hmm... I see you don't have a non-battery version... so what will the ARF cost?

Thanks

Just ordered! I'm going to get a Don's wicked 4000 for it, unless the fan can accommodate a 28mm motor

the grey looks way too dark on the first version, or is that just the lighting in your pictures?

Does your free shipping offer apply to canada as well?

i don't see the nose in any of the pictures.....the all important nose, which has been the cause of some concern, as to its shape. How does the nose look? Overall i like what i see..

Hello Terry,
The fan will not accomodate a 28mm motor but this jet will do great on one of dons motors.

Aferguson,
I think it's the picture that is throwing the color off. In person the jet looks great! The nose is in the second picture next to the horizontal stab but i didn't take one of it on the jet. I will see if I can take a pic of the nose for you later today,

best regards,
William

Here is the thread from Don's vender forum showing how a Wicked extreme is mounted:

I fly from grass, so the standard power package might have been sub-optimal for ROG or handlaunch.

I just received my Phantom today from Turbofanelectrics. Ordered it on Friday and got it here in Hawaii on Tuesday. Those guys are great. Plane looks awesome. If it was'nt for a previously planned fishing trip I would stay up all night building it so I could fly it this weekend. Thanks again to William from TurboFanElectrics! Awesome service.

I picked up a couple of them from William. Great deal!

I'm using the Wattage powerfan with a LSJS for starters. If it turns out to be a floater, I'll step it up from there.

i was checking out this F4 when I ran across this thread. What motor is best to use with the stock included fan on 3S or 4S?

Is there any video of the F4?
