Somewhere in here a guy made a post about using the top of a soda bottle for an engine mount. It also made for quick motor changes. I can't find it now though.

I always use the bell style motors with the set screws though. Pretty easy for motor changes if you need to.

It did in my case, with the heavy paper skins. However, I just really like the look of the curved line of the front of the saucer. For my next bird, tissue skins, a bigger battery (as Talon suggested in the first place) and putting the prop back in the saucer slot is the way I will be going.

I think so too! If you don't like the motor sticking out that far, then it can be notched into the LE. Should fly quieter also.

I have seen a lot of Enterprises A's with the tractor style.

I considered it for a while but i have to say that putting the motor in a slot always looks better to me.

Last 2 ARF's EVER!!! I hope :)

It has been hard lately finding time to build but i still have 2 more ARF's.

I have been working on them as i can find the time. Heck i haven't been in the air for at least 6 weeks!!

Anyways, they are coming together pretty well. The build is done. I am about halfway finished with skinning then i have final assembly and adding of the hardware.

Thought i would post a picture of all the parts sitting on the table. The camera in my phone is getting pretty bad so it didn't turn out great but you get the idea.

I really want to get these done so i can move on to finishing the Voyager!

Ok guys Official Review on Youtube!

Eric from AroundTuit RC did an awesome job on the review. I am soooooo glad it flew well for him. I was definitely a little worried. I have been flying the D for a long time so i think it flies great. It is nice to see that others agree.

Anyhow, check it out and subscribe to Eric's Youtube channel!
