Yeah, There's a lot of 8mm H7 holes but I only intend to use a couple of them for mating the two moulds together accurately... the rest are to enable me to position things like servo mounts, joiner tubes, spars and ballast tubes once I've made the corresponding tools...

Right...
Unlike Joe M's 160" monster, my moulds are rather small and using a polishing machine will put excesive wear in the wrong places. This is all going to be manual labour. So.. Time for some serious elbow-grease. I've been practicing for this since I was 13: shouldn't be too tough ![]() Captions are all there and should tell the story. I'm mostly happy with the finish, though at some point in the future I'll most likely make a tiny foam-padded polishing machine and give them a tiny bit mroe attention. We'll see how the others turn out now that I'm armed with what I've learned on this one. A mould a day... got a week or so to go if all goes to plan
