4#3 2.4ghz conversion possible??

Hi everyone,I would like to know what all is needed to convert my 4#3 into 2.4 ghz,I already have the 4#3b so I know I can use the tx.My reason for this is I'm having all kinds of problems w/my reg. 4#3's rx/tx it's not flyable and I was about to give up on it but I have so many spare parts for it,it would be a waste for it to just sit and collect dust.Is it possible to by a 2.4 ghz rx and start flying it again or is there more to it??? any help on this would be GREATLY APPREACITED.

Thanks in advance guys.......
