Sean, accepting your addiction is the first step LOL! Welcome, where do you live in San Diego? The ADSJ founders and myself are up here in North County. It would be great if you join us on our weekend adventures.

Arbo, looks like it has great potential. Actually, the curcuits you guys were flying look like a blast. Love the curcuits where you are going all the way around the point. Also can't beat park and fly sites. Thanks for sharing the vid. I think you just need higher winds for faster speeds.

Keep us informed,
Chris

Nice looking spot you've got there Arbo!

I posted this already in the Acro thread but I feel I had to put it up here too...
I had so much footage from "the narrows" that I had to whittle alot off from that first video. Here's what got left out, for the most part.

The Narrows-Outtakes (3 min 14 sec)

Hey ,back again yes Quadshot I live down in san diego,Allied Gardens to be correct. What is the ADSJ ,and yes it would be great to possibly hook up with you and your sloping cronies .just give me a yell.Unfortunatly Im a unemployed teasmter right now,Fortunatly thats given me a ton of time to go fly, which is what Ive been doing ,Have a lady friend who lives a mile or two from the Blossum Valley so Ive been hitting that place up almost daily [even on almost no wind days you can still snag a thermal or two coming out of the valley], ..so yes it would be great to go flying

Greg that video is better than the first. Way cool.

Exarua, cool we will definitely have to hook it up. Our local spot, Bills Hill is off the 15 and 76 towards Pala, and we have a new place out farther up Palomar Mtn called Nates Ridge. It won't be happening with these Santa Ana conditions, so we will probably be road trippin to Elsinore or Parker. It all depends on how strong the wind will be.

The ADSJ's are just us guys who inspired this Amateur DS Junkies thread, when we all got hooked on DSing.

Lets keep in touch.

Junky cured his heroin habit by RC addiction

I overheard a joke.

A junky cured his habit after he took up RC hobby. RC addiction was stronger than heroin addiction.

When he was faced with a choice of spending his limited money, he chose to spend it on RC hobby.

There must be many former heroin addicts among DS junkies.

Oran sorry to hear about your struggle. Come on back to the darkside. The frontside/slope will no longer satisfy. After your dsing this summer you can't just go cold turkey and stop. Come on back we are there for ya bro.

I just did my first ever inverted DS laps yesterday! Gentle winds and smooth DS conditions. Flying my old Ricochet - a foam core, balsa sheeted slope aerobat. I only did 5 laps, and only once did I keep going around for the 2nd lap. So I can't say "I can do it" yet. I think being unfamiliar with it you stay higher and fly a more conservative line, so I kept losing too much speed.
