Hey James #1 you are definitly at the very top of the ADSJ list. I just consider the founding members as Mark, Ray, and James #2 who personally followed/joined me and left our home at Daves Beach and ventured into DSing together. It was a funny initial journey with myself doing my first real curcuits at Poway first. Hooked right away, I was out at Poway every chance I could get. I kept enouraging them to join me for about 2 months, and getting mixed responses. Finally, they did and they were hooked as fast as I was. So as such, I consider them as founding members.

Now at that point the ADSJ mindset just started. Where it really took off was when you and others joined us and it turned into DS mania up at Poway. Most of you guys were already DS'ers/ADSJ'S. I just hadn't come up with the term. As such, let me just classify you as an offical ADSJ Board Member along with the others that were part of our mania up at Poway.

It was driving back from one of those days of fun and laughs that I came up with the idea for this thread and of coarse the AMATEUR DS JUNKIES name.

By the way, sorry for missing your Weldon speed and not posting it. In fact, I think you are the Founding member of the Century Club as you broke 100mph first before any other original ADSJ. In fact I don't think we were even posting speeds yet. We hadn't even ds'ed anywhere else but Poway. We were taking notes and being inpired by your videos and stories of your adventures outside of our little dsiing hill.

So anyway, you will be added to the Century Club, and no disrespect about considering you as only a board member rather then a founding member.

Nice video.
The Blade segment at Rocky Point South really shows how
deep you have to dig there to get below the saddle and into
the groove. A little high, and it comes out slow, dig *way* down
and it comes ripping back.

Yeah Robert's one of the plank holders.

Nice compilation video Robin and Mark. Thanks for making to the time to edit and share it.

Ian,

I was really one edge at Rocky Point, I never really did feel comfortable there that day but you're right the deeper you go the better the groove. There was a little bump at the exit of the bottom turn that tried to turn the plane into the hill (Jame's mini blade was upside down a couple times) that was spooking me out. So I never felt comfortable and in the groove. The vide makes it look much smoother than it really was.

Hey Daboz, I know it keeps looking iffy, we will just have to see. Last Thanksgiving weekend on Sunday was my first time up at Norco and it was blowing around 50mph. It was the first time I even saw DSing. I had a blast flying the frontside all to myself in that kind of wind. Huge pumps with my moth over the full moon rising in the east with the sun setting in the west One of my best flying experiences ever.

Now I am a true ds junkie and ds'ed Norco for the first time during the last Santa Ana. Hopefully, we will have a dejavu day this Sunday.

Hope to see you up there. Daboz you definitly have one of the best reads on Norco, please keep us updated with your insight this weekend if you don't mind a couple Amateur Ds Junkies joining you up there.

Thanks,
Chris
